Practice doing up your wedding bustle

Adding a wedding bustle to a dress can be tricky. At the dress fitting, if you can, take a picture of how it is supposed to look, as this can be very helpful for you to refer to on the day of your wedding. You may also like to get your mother or maid of honour to practice doing it up before the actual day of your wedding. Ideally, this person should attend the dress fittings with you. That way by the time your wedding day arrive, they should be experts at doing up a bustle.
“How much are you willing to spend?”

When you walk into a bridal store one of the questions the sales staff will ask you is how much you are willing to spend. It’s a good idea to never be entirely truthful about this. Give them a price that is roughly 10-20% lower than what you have budgeted to spend. Chances are they will naturally try to up sell to you anyway, so that by quoting a lower price, you will get suggestions for gowns that are in your actual price range anyway.
Get married in Hello Kitty style

What I love about wedding gowns, is that they are no longer confined to a certain style or colour. Whilst I may not be the biggest Hello Kitty fan (or one at all for that mattter) I can appreciate the uniqueness of the following gown, an email sent to me by a presumably Hello Kitty fan.
The dress was for sale last year on the Etsy website for $4000 and whilst it may not be for everyone, I’m sure some Hello Kitty fans would go crazy for it.
Can a Bridesmaid’s Dress Be Black?

Who said bridesmaid’s gowns need to be a uniformed in colour. What a striking visual ensemble Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha made as bridesmaids in Sex and the City. The photo of all four of the gals together is stunning as the fusion of colour just brings the picture to life. However, whilst I do love Miranda’s gown in black, I think that once the groom is added to the mix it could detract the attention from him if he is wearing a traditional black tux.
What do other readers think about this? Can a bridesmaid’s gown be black?
