There are so many different ways to propose to your partner, the moonlight walk, in front of family and friends, whilst holidaying at an exotic occasion or the forever popular one… in food. Hiding the engagement ring in a desert can be a beautiful thing, but it also has its risk, one could unknowingly swallow the ring, just ask Kaitlin Whipple! Kaitlin’s boyfriend hid the engagement ring in her milkshake and to encourage her to find the ring he challenged her to a race. Being the competitive gal, she gulped the shake down, ring and all!
A trip to the emergency room and an x-ray shows that she very well did swallow the ring… but don’t worry the ring emerged a few days later and Kaitlin was fine. Since then both Kaitlin and her now finance Reed have been swept up in media interviews and talk show appearances… it seems everyone wants to know about the girl who swallowed her engagement ring!

Stuck for locations for your wedding? How about on a plane, no I didn’t make a typo, not in a plane, but on a plane. Bristish couple Darren McWalters and Katie Hodgson did it! It took three planes, one for the bride, one for the groom and a third plane for Rev. George Bringham. Now whilst many would think that they are a bit on the nutty side, I kinda like the idea that they began this new chapter of their life on such a high note (no pun intended) Imagine all the added adrenaline and emotion such a ceremony would conjure.
