DWB: Is It Okay to Not Give The Attendants a Gift?

I was recently asked if it was okay to not give the attendants a small gift, the short answer is no. It is tradition for the bride and groom to give small gifts to the bridal party to thank them for all their support and for being part of your wedding day and this cost should be included in your wedding budget.

Remember, the bridesmaid and groomsmen have spent money buying their tux and gowns as well as contributing their time into your big day such as all those dress fittings, organising bridal showers and hen nights.   If money is tight, the gift needn’t be expensive, as it is more the thought that counts.  Don’t forget to include a  thank-you card with heartfelt words of gratitude and appreciation.
